November 2017 Scrapbooking Workshop – Beary Christmas

We are using the super fun “Beary Christmas” paper line this month.  The more I cut, the more I loved it!   And adding some silver and red glitter paper and trim makes it perfect for your pictures.  Three of these layouts use our Pocket Plus insert pages (thanks to fellow consultant, Tina Lovell, for her awesome Pocket Plus layouts).  The Pocket Plus pages are another perfect way to add more photos to layouts and can be used in combination with our Flip Flaps (which I have done on three of the layouts on which I used the Pocket Plus insert pages), or they can be used when you just have a few more photos to add.  I haven’t totaled up how many photos I scrapbooked on these five layouts with using Flip Flaps and Pocket Plus pages, but it’s a lot!!  And who doesn't have oodles and oodles of Christmas pictures?!?!

September 2017 Scrapbooking Workshop – Falling for You

For this month’s workshop, we are using the beautiful “Falling for You” paper line. As expected, it uses our gorgeous fall colors. And as always, flipping the paper gives you lots of options for different looks. I scrapbooked my pictures from last Thanksgiving, but I kinda’ chuckled because it would also be perfect for lots of my old photos from the 60’s and 70’s – ha ha!!

August 2017 Scrapbooking Workshop – Jack

Isn’t “Jack” so handsome!  This is our “Jack” workshop for August -- SIX fun layouts (two extra layouts this month)!!  I just love this paper.   It was so fun to work with.  Thanks so much to fellow consultant Chris Robertson.  I bought her workshop instructions and then altered them to fit our needs. 

The paper is really versatile, and you can flip it to totally change up the way the layout looks.  The reverse side of the “bearded man” paper is “trees,” so it would be easy to change the theme of a layout.  And the buffalo plaid reverses to the white with small red dashes, so again, it’s easy to change the whole look of the layout.  I could easily see Christmas pictures on these layouts, especially using the trees and buffalo plaid (or the red dashed paper), and changing the title.  So many choices!!

I will be adding Whisper Thick Twine (also included in your kit) when I add my photos.   It will look so cute tied around the bottom or tops of photos and mats, and around packs of flip flaps (which I’m sure I will be using)!  :-)

June 2017 Scrapbooking Workshop – No Worries

Here’s the “No Worries” workshop for June.  I love this paper so much!   It was easy to get five 2-page layouts using the paper packet, the coordinating cardstock, and the Complements.  I used lots of flip flaps (even more than normal) – such a great way to add more photos to hide journaling.  I used them in a traditional way on some of the pages and in a “waterfall” way on a couple of the pages – once vertically and once horizontally.   

Thanks to flip flaps, there are 11 photos in the horizontal "waterfall" style photo bundle on the left side below (see the photos of us on the beach)!

And thanks to flip flaps, there are 21 photos in the vertical "waterfall" style photo bundle on the left side below!!

I had so many Hawaii photos, on the “Get Away” page, I decided to add two Pocket Plus Memory Protectors for my photos (not part of the regular kit).  Following are photos to show how the pages look adding the Pocket Plus Protectors.  It is so easy to include additional photos with our Pocket Plus Protectors!
